Feefa is doing fantastic. She is a delight as always. Always ready to play with dog or human, and very friendly with everyone. I would say she is one happy dog. She listens to us well and grazes on her food along with our husky, so we just leave it out all day, and they munch when they want. Both have no weight problem so it works great. We are so happy that you allowed us such a wonderful dog. The only thing about her that we weren't quite expecting was the noisy side. She barks whenever she is excited, which is often, since we play a lot. But that is just Feefa! Cindy

Aodhfin is doing very well. His energy is limitless, his physical abilities extraordinary, and he is always up for a cuddle. He loves to run on the beach and in the woods, especially with his pal Áine. He enjoys being a leader, running full-throttle, jumping over driftwood and under tables, splashing around in water, laying on the balcony watching birds, possessing toys and chewies, romping in the snow, and laying next to one of his human companions or Áine. Recently, he has been learning skijoring vocabularly, spending time in snow, and excitedly watching dog sleds zoom by. He is a very happy guy and we are very lucky to share our lives with him! -- Karen, Aodhfin & Áine

David now has 3 Samoyeds: Loki, his 13 year old girl; Hana, one of our female puppies; and Dazzle, a little boy. Hana doesn't miss a beat and she looks after her little brother, Dazzle. When at the dog park she will come immediately when called; but not so the bull-headed one. Hana will run back to him again and again giving him nose-nudges and body bumps trying to persuade him to come and then run back to me. This repeats until Dazzle follows her. Hana moves with fox-like quickness, she is long-trunked and agile. My guess is she would be excellent for agility. Interestingly, Hana is not an eater. Food is not her thing. She only eats when she is hungry and then only a little at a time. -- David, Loki, Hana & Dazzle

Wow does time fly.....and so will Tank's coat soon! His winter coat is sooo amazingly thick...... Tank and Gracie are doing GREAT! He is progressing well with walking and not being anxious when we are in town walking on the sidewalks near greater foot and auto traffic.....He is still a bit nervous with strangers that present a little bit 'different' in personality the way they walk or talk but we are working on that. He and Gracie have done a fine job of creating new spaces (ie holes) as suggestions for new places to plant trees and bushes in the backyard but they don't exactly match my preferred locations (haha). He is still very cuddly and has a nightly routine to go to each room ...jump on the bed for a brief cuddle and stroking before usually heading back down stairs for 'guard duty'. Tank has also slowly and I might say in a pretty funny manor...made some 'interesting' attempts to howl when I get them excited.... I don't know whether Gracie or Tank has the more unusual howl (lol). Tank's favorite hobby is still playing with the soccer ball....and I might add he is a pretty aggressive defender! Wendy

Just went to the park and Meeka had a blast!! She's been sleeping pretty much since we got back! She accidentally fell in the water the whole way (which she's never done before) and honestly I didn't know if she was going to know what to do in the water! haha! But of course she knew and swam out as fast as she could! She was this skinny little thing! But then she just shook a few times and she was pretty much dry again! Off leash, she has great recall (when she's not too invested in something else). One thing I've noticed though since she's gotten a little older is that she would much rather play with me than with any other dog. She gets a little grumpy at the park when there are a lot of dogs around. I'll call her my grumpy old lady sometimes (haha). Carli

Tikaani Agility 2014
Young Tikaani

Tikaani is such a sweet girl that loves to cuddle. She has decided that our bed is her bed and sleeps at the foot of the bed every night. When all the puppies got their first bath, we would swaddle them in a towel and rock them for a good 20 minutes. Tikaani is our biggest girl, almost as tall as her dad, and still loves to be swaddled and rocked after each bath. Of all the dogs, she is our biggest talker. Tikaani always woo-woos when we come home. She is the first to let us know if anyone is walking down the street or a delivery person has arrived. She has a lot of her dad’s traits such as when she wants to play, she drops down on a shoulder with her butt in the air and yips at the others to come play. She is a sweet pea. Nadia is our little pixie. She is a petite little girl, smaller than mom but has the biggest attitude. Probably because she is short, Nadi love to stand on objects – anything to give her a better viewing position. She gets along with everyone and loves to be the center of attention – a trait she got from her dad. Like her sister, Nadia is going to be great at agility. She is not afraid of trying anything and loves playing on the equipment, running with great drive. Nadia also requires attention and will sit or lay on you to get closer to cuddle if it’s possible. As others have said and we totally agree, 'she is just too stinking cute'. -- Kath, Duane, Denali, Nikita, Tikaani & Nadia
